(1) Selection of species. At present, the market mainly sells chemical fiber socks (nylon, CASS, thin elastic, etc.), cotton socks and blending, interweaving, wool, real silk socks, etc. According to the season and foot characteristics, nylon socks and towel socks are generally selected in winter; cotton or blended socks are selected for sweaty feet and cracked feet; elastic card stockings and real stockings are worn in summer; thin elastic stockings and mesh stockings are suitable in spring and autumn.
(2) Size selection. The size of socks is based on the size of the bottom (from heel to toe). General dimensions are marked on the label. According to the length of feet, it is better to choose equal or slightly larger size, rather than smaller size.
(3) The choice of quality.
1. Selection of grade: socks are divided into first-class, second-class, third-class (all qualified) and substandard products according to internal quality and appearance quality. Generally, first-class products can be selected, and second-class and third-class products can also be selected when the requirements are not high.
2 selection of key parts:
1) Choose socks and socks with large heel, in a bag shape, as close to the foot shape as possible. The size of the heel of the sock will cause the sock tube to sag after wearing, and the sock heel will slide to the sole of the sock. You can't try them on when you buy them. Just fold the sock face and the sole in half from the center line. Generally, the ratio of sock face and sock heel is 2:3.
2) Inspection of the density and elasticity of sock mouth: the density of sock mouth should be large, the width should be doubled by horizontal drawing, and the recovery should be good. Its elasticity is small and it is not easy to reset when it is pulled horizontally, which is also one of the reasons for the slide of socks. 三) Check whether the joint of the sewing head is off the needle. Generally, the sewing of socks is another process. If the stitching is off, the mouth will be opened when wearing. When selecting, carefully look from the sewing head to see whether the sewing needle is smoothly off.
4) Check for holes and broken wires. As socks are knitwear, they have certain extensibility and elasticity. Generally, broken wires and small holes are not easy to find. According to the technological process, it is easy to break the wire or break the hole with other objects after the sock is sheathed on the set plate. Therefore, when purchasing, check the shaping edge of the sole and the surface of the sock, and gently pull to check.
5) Check the length of socks. As each pair of socks is optional, it is easy to have unequal length. Generally, each pair of first-class socks should be no more than 0.5cm.
